ELDER THREAT BLOCK "Home Birth"

Our third release was Spasmodic Joy's debut LP, our fifth is Elder Threat Block's one. What's the link ?, you might wonder... Well, this is just another record by Geoff Mendelson, with this side-project dedicated to all kinds of musical experimentation.
There's no track like another here, and that's the whole point. Elder Threat Block plays with styles, distorts eastern lullabies, invites kazoos to buzz around electronic sounds, and hopes you enjoy the fireworks. Labels can always work though : ambient, post-[whatever], folk, baroque, psychedelic gone wild... "Home Birth" is all that, but one thing keeps turning into another, every intention gently hides its opposite.
This release also marks an evolution about our different kinds of sleeves. We wanted to develop our own origami, and be able to have a more sophisticated artwork printed. No painting this time ! However, if the result may look more like a manufactured thing at first sight, it's definitely a piece of work : every copy has been manually cut and folded.. And this is what makes the beauty of a limited edition.
