SPARKY DEATHCAP "Let's Build A Fire"
[CD-R] # pulsar001
During much consideration as to how and why to sell records these days, a miracle happened with this first Pulsar Music release !
These home recordings by English songwriter Rob Taylor, aka Sparky Deathcap, compiled and packaged by Geoff Mendelson, are a record of four summers and winters spent at his family home in the rural Northwest.
Our man lists many influences - mainly from North Eastern American States - all of whom contribute to this varied and personal record of a songwriter finding his voice.
The energy of Sparky's music has been mirrored in the painstakingly handcrafted CDs (see the making of) : each of the 101 copies is a unique collector's edition worthy of appreciation by all those who love weird indie-folk, or by anyone who just appreciates a bit of old fashioned, genuine creativity. Très DIY...
Don't forget to check out the track on your left, "Mountain And Central" [192 kbps] - between Jim Morrison and the old Kentucky.
